Rick Tally is the owner of Doc Tally's.

Physical appearance[]

Rick Tally is a tall, thin man with brown hair. He has chiseled features, including a long, pointed nose. Tally wears blue jeans, a white dress shirt and a red sport coat. His attire is completed with western accessories, including as boots, a belt with a large turquoise buckle, and a bolo tie with a turquoise clasp.

Personality[]

Rick's brother, Bill Tally, described him as having "burgers in the blood," meaning that he was, above all, excessively preoccupied with the welfare of his business. Relying on events to maintain the business, he doggedly refused to cancel or postpone the anniversary race even in light of the Spectral Speedster wreaking havoc on the racers and threatening their safety. With this, unlike his brother he is not willing to resort to criminal activity to keep his business alive.

History[]

Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?[]

Season one[]

Following the death of Doc Tally, the entire business was entrusted to Rick, which would lead his envious and vengeful brother to sabotage the business to the verge of bankruptcy. To maintain the business, Rick organized a competition to celebrate the restaurant's 70th anniversary. Rick first appeared to Mystery Inc. at the event's opening ceremony, where he introduced the challenge and prize, a 70-year-old Doc Tally Supreme. However, the ceremony was attacked by his brother, who created the Spectral Speedster disguise to damage the property. Although his brother pleaded with him to cancel the event, Rick refused to stop the race, commencing the road race.

Rick was later found innocent after Bill was incriminated for the crime by Mystery Inc. and Jim Gaffigan. He then rewarded the winners of the race, Jim, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo, with the 70-year-old Doc Tally Supreme.
