Repeat Offender is the second of two stories in Scooby-Doo #6, by DC Comics. It was preceded by Ghost Riders in Disguise.
Premise[]
A geologist gets a crush on Daphne and uses love-related disguises to try to attract her attention.
Synopsis[]
Mystery Inc. investigates, captures, and unmasks a phantom terror, and the culprit is revealed to be a geologist. However, as he is brought to authorities, he develops a crush for Daphne. Driven by love, he escapes from prison and attacks Mystery Inc. again as a rose monster to gain Daphne's affection. He would escape several more times, disguising himself as a candy box monster and diamond ring monster.
Tired of unmasking the geologists' disguises, Daphne decides to give the geologist an autographed portrait of herself. The geologist, keeping the portrait as he sits in prison, chooses not to escape.
