• Due to legal issues, Dick Dastardly and Muttley from Wacky Races (characters co-owned by Heatter-Quigley Productions) were replaced with Dread Baron and Mumbly, respectively.
• With the exception of Mumbly and the Dalton brothers, all members were original characters and were made just for the Laff-a-Lympics.
• Sooey Pig is absent from the Laff-a-Lympics Marvel Comics.
