They are bipedal black rats. The green rat variants have a more upright wired tail.

The green rats, unlike their counterparts, act like standard cartoon rats who love cheese.
History[]
Scooby-Doo Mystery[]
The standard rats are common enemies who appear in every level. The green rats are their invincible variants. The green versions first appear in the wreck of the Red Ryan where they need to be dealt by throwing buckets on top of them. They make a second appearance in the Bradshaw Manor where they need to be distracted with cheese.
