Purvis Parker, also known as The Dude of Rock'n Roll, is a musician. He is the idol/inspiration of Buddy Chillner, and ironically, Purvis Parker himself is actually a big fan of Buddy and his music.
He seems to be based on real life singer/super star, Elvis Presley.
Insert details here.
Purvis's private plane had supposedly disappeared years ago, but this wasn't true. He pretended to disappear because he wanted some peace and quiet. His house was turned into a museum not long afterward by Mr. Dilton.
A Pup Named Scooby-Doo
Purvis had disguised himself as an old man when he went out in public. However, after Mr. Dilton's business at Parker Place was becoming terrible because of Buddy's popularity, he dressed up as Purvis Parker's ghost to ruin Buddy. After seeing the ghost at one of Buddy's concerts, Purvis followed him back to Parker Place, hoping to catch him. He was captured by the ghost along with Buddy sometime later. After the ghost was unmasked as Mr. Dilton, Purvis and Buddy were found, and Velma Dinkley revealed who he really was. Afterwards he explained everything to the gang. Later he appeared with Buddy in concert, performing the new song they wrote.
