Protein Titans 2 is the twenty-second episode of season 2 of Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!, and the forty-eighth overall.

Premise

An algorithm Velma and her friend Zara created, that simulates taste and smell, is wanted for the video game Protein Titans 2. As a result, she gets an offer to work at Brainsplosion Games for $10 million, where a video game monster comes to life: the Ghost Chef.

• A plot hole later created by Pizza O'Possum's, is that Velma was addicted to video games when she was little. Although the story editor, Jon Colton Barry, doesn't see that episode to be canon.

Quotes

As the gang is being flown by helicopter to Brainsplosion Games. Daphne: I don't know Velma. This gaming company is trying too hard to impress you. Mummy made us take our helicopter to school, and trust me it gets old. How many times can you tell the teacher your homework got sucked into the rotors?

Fred: What are you doing at Brainsplosion? Don't you have your own company? Megan Flemming: Right, like I'm gonna talk to you. I know an undercover cop when I see one. Fred: I'm not a cop. I'm 18 years old... Yo, I'm chillin' like a villain... Not a real villain. More like a polar bear chillin'. Megan Flemming: That sounds like you're a cop. Scooby: It really does.

Daphne: Next, Fred. You're a middle aged dad stuck in the body of an 18 year old. Deal with it!

Mr. Junior: I guess your close friendly relationship with your father is kind of inspiring. You must be proud of Velma, Mr Dinkley. Fred: (Putting his hands on Velma's shoulders) Oh I am Mr Junior. I've always been proud of my little girl. Velma: OK, this is getting weird. Fred: Agreed. Dude.
