Jerry Reed singing "Pretty Mary Sunlight"
Lyrics[]
Yeah
Pretty Mary Sunlight
She's alright with me
Pretty Mary Sunlight
She's everything I need
Some people sit around
And they watch the world go by
They just don't know the fun
They're missing
People see me happy
And they sometimes ask me why
I tell them girls were made for kissing
Well I don't need to look around
Cause I'm in the heaven since I found my
Pretty Mary Sunlight
She's alright with me
Pretty Mary Sunlight
She's everything I need
Pretty Mary Sunlight
She' turns the night to day
Pretty Mary Sunlight
Don't ever go away
Some people spend their whole lives
Chasing after dreams
Dreams I guess they never will believe in
Playing foolish games
Inventing fairy tales and schemes
Building fantasies that will deceive them
But I don't need to look around
Cause I'm in the heaven since I found my
Pretty Mary Sunlight
She's alright with me, song
Pretty Mary Sunlight
She's everything I need
Pretty Mary Sunlight
Turns each night to day
Pretty Mary Sunlight
Don't ever go away
Don't you ever go away, song.

Notes/trivia[]
- This version of the song was a cover of the song of the same name by Austin Roberts and was recorded roughly a year later from its original "appearance" in the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode, Don't Fool with a Phantom.
- Reed's rendition would end up being slated on the 1998 Kid Rhino soundtrack, Scooby-Doo's Snack Tracks: The Ultimate Collection.
- When put on the soundtrack mentioned above the song's title is spelled incorrectly on the liners with the word "sunlight" appearing as "sunlite".
