Mystery Inc. watched a video on the supposed Poughkeepsie Experiment, a classified naval experiment during the Second World War in which the navy made the USS Eldridge disappear using cloaking technology. So, they decided to visit Poughkeepsie to investigate further. They learned more at the Project Rainbow Gift Shop and Museum, but later discovered a movie set in the basement used to fake the video. They filmed their own video exposing the museum owners for fabricating the entire legend to sell related merchandise at the gift shop, and with the video becoming viral, the museum went out of business.
