The restaurant was a location the gang were heading to, while also using a map they found from a separate other restaurant, at the time they thought it was a potential treasure map.
However, the map was really for the Pizza Treasure Restaurant, and the entire time they were there, a mystery involving a ghost was involved after getting warnings from an old man. It was later revealed that the nephew of the owner of the other restaurant wanted to prevent people from going there and only to his uncle's instead, but was forgiven and shortly made an agreement allowing the gang to have the decision to go for both places.
