Phyllis Diller was an American screen and voice actress, and stand-up comedienne, dancer, and singer. Her trademark persona included her eccentric stage persona, self-deprecating humour, wild hair and clothes, and her exaggerated, cackling laugh. She was the star of the sitcom, The Pruitts of Southampton (also known as The Phyllis Diller Show), between 1966–1967, and the variety show, The Beautiful Phyllis Diller Show, in 1968. She was also the voice of Thelma Griffin on Family Guy (starring Seth MacFarlane and Seth Green), and The White Queen in the 1987 animated film Alice Through the Looking Glass (co-starring Alan Young, Hal Rayle, Hal Smith, Janet Waldo and Jonathan Winters).
