The Phantom was the disguise of Ace Decade, to get a half-finished song by a missing writer.

Physical appearance[]

The Phantom has a rather clown-like appearance. His mask is all white. The mask features the lips being red. Around the eyes is black, goth-like makeup. He has wild, red hair that sticks straight up with streaks of orange. His costume is a full blue jumpsuit. The outfit features an irregular, long v-neck. This suit has a gold-studded, vest-like cover. He also wears white boots.

Personality[]

Personality wise, the Phantom is conniving, loud, and one who threatens. He showed his evil side when he unlawfully imprisoned Grammy-Nominated songwriter Tony Synes, while showing disregard to those concerned about Mr. Synes.

As mentioned above, he unlawfully imprisoned Grammy-Nominated songwriter Tony Synes and later The Phantom harassed Mystery Inc.. The Phantom attempted to steal records (four stacks) from the record company owned by Joshua Decade, which had an estimated value of one billion dollars.

The Phantom purposefully misled Mystery Inc. as Ace Decade when he played a tape recording in his own office to make it seem as if the Phantom was targeting him next! What a jerk! Throughout the episode, he tried AND FAILED to recover the last piece of music written by Tony Synes before his disappearence. In this music, Synes left a clue, which was Decade's ultimate downfall; his last piece of music spelled the culprit's name in the first three bars: "ACE DEC ADE", which is his name.

  • The Phantom's make-up is similar to the rock band KISS.
    • The true identity, Ace, may also be an allusion to the band, referencing the member Ace Frehley.
  • The Guitar Ghoul from the video game, Scooby-Doo! Unmasked, appears to be based on him.
