Early history[]
The battlefield was the location of an unnamed battle in the American Civil War during the nineteenth century. During this time, a supply of gold was meant to be paid to the soldiers on the front lines, but the gold was lost, presumably buried in the battlefield.

Season one[]
Centuries after the war, the battlefield became a historic landmark and tourist attraction, complete with memorial statues and monuments. It became primary crime scene for the Civil War zombie ghosts. Antique store owner Jebb attempted to locate the lost gold, so he created the zombie sergeant disguise to keep tourists from interfering with his operations. He was eventually exposed for his crimes and handed over to authorities, and his brother, Ebb, continued to search for the lost gold so it could be used to maintain the site.
