Pazzo the Ghost Clown was the disguise of A.J. Dobbs.
Physical appearance[]
Pazzo the Ghost Clown was a pale imitation of the cartoon clown that appeared on television. He has large, round lips and a spherical nose. Apart from his white hair, which stuck out behind his ears, his skin, facial features and clothing are all various shades of pale fluorescent blue. He wears a baggy stereotypical clown suit from 1950s/1960s television, having oversized buttons down the front of his one-piece outfit, a large, round ruffle covering his neck and a floppy, conical hat with a pom-pom on top.
Personality[]
In contrast to the real Pazzo the Clown he is based off of, Pazzo the Ghost Clown is a hostile monster that attempts to chase people away from the QTTT-TV station. He is, however, generally evasive of conflict, trying to warn them away via televised message before resorting to physically appearing. Also, as his aim is to destroy records of the original Pazzo the Clown Show, he tries to prevent others from viewing footage from the show, showing visible embarrassment and discomfort when it is televised. He is not completely fearless, as when confronted by sufficient threat of capture, he attempts to escape. However, he is willing to make dangerous choices to escape, such as attempting to climb a radio tower.
Skills and abilities[]
- Television hijacking: The ghost clown has the ability to hijack television screens and monitors. This allows the ghost clown to make a video appearance instead of having to physically appear.
History[]
Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?[]
Season one[]
Former child actor A.J. Dobbs wanted to destroy all records of a humiliating clip of him from the Pazzo the Clown Show, so he created the ghost clown disguise to sabotage the television station that broadcasted the show, QTTT. He based his disguise off a local legend claiming the station to be cursed by the ghost of Pazzo the Clown. He was first seen attacking two news anchors just before the station's annual telethon. Mystery Inc. then encountered the clown on the former set of the Pazzo the Clown Show, where the clown warned them to leave the station lest they be cursed. During his appearances, he left behind fluorescent paint in the form of handprints and footprints.

A.J. Dobbs unmasked.
Pazzo the Ghost Clown was captured after attempting to interrupt the telethon while it was on air. However, he was deterred when Mystery Inc. played the humiliating footage from the Pazzo the Clown Show. Although he attempted to escape by retreating to the rooftop and climbing the radio tower, he fell off the tower and was captured. Dobbs was exposed and subsequently handed over to authorities for his crimes.
