Party Arty is the fourth episode of the first season of Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue!
Premise[]
Shaggy and Scooby decide to throw a housewarming party, but their neighbor, president of the housing association, Thurston Havansimp, sets out to derail their plans. Once Dr. Phibes hears about the party, he sends over a killer robot that threatens the party.
Synopsis[]
Shaggy and Scooby prepare a housewarming party for their new mansion, but their neighbour, Thurston Havansimp, who is also president of the housing association, threatens to evict them for numerous policy violations. In response, Shaggy gets all the required permits to host the party, except for one violation, Robi, which Havansimp deems a dangerous robot. Agent 2, upon hearing their problem, brings this information to Phibes. Under a guise, Phibes offers Shaggy and Scooby the automated Robotic Tactical Unit (A.R.T.), his new prototype robot that could temporarily replace Robi but could serve as a spy for Phibes.
Disguised as a delivery man, Agent 2 delivers A.R.T. to the Shaggleford residence, and Shaggy asks Robi to hide during the party. However, when the guests arrive, they accidentally knock A.R.T. into the pool, damaging it. As Havansimp inspects the party for more policy violations, Phibes orders A.R.T. to enter "full eradication mode," causing them to attack the party guests.
While A.R.T. chases Shaggy, Scooby, and Havansimp into the house, Shaggy admits that he hid Robi away to avoid being evicted. Realizing Phibes masterminded A.R.T.'s attacks, they find the camera he used to spy on them. As A.R.T. corners them in the library, Robi appears at their aid, defending them and fighting A.R.T. Retreating into the laboratory, Havansimp admits that Robi was not a dangerous robot, and regrets attempting to have them evicted.
Shaggy shrinks Havansimp into a smaller form, then places him in his pocket so he would not see Scooby eating a Scooby Snack. This Scooby Snack transforms him into a fighting robot, and he fights A.R.T. Though A.R.T. overpowers him and his power wears off, he knocks A.R.T. into the shrink ray, allowing Shaggy to shrink it down to a minute size. As Robi chases it away as a pest, Shaggy returns Havansimp to his regular size, even lengthening his legs to increase his height. As an act of gratitude, Havansimp endorses them to be Neighbours of the Year.
