The gang were messaged by a village chief to come help investigate strange going on, as the residents were scared of by spirits, even though nothing was actually there. It was all later revealed to have been the village's doctor using some special potion to spike the water, then making people drink it and start hallucinating objects coming to life in order to empty the entire village, buy it's land and then sell it to the construction company so hotels can be built.
