This page is for the live-action incarnation of Ozark Witch. For the original animated character this is based on, see Ghost of Witch McCoy.

Ozark Witch was a costume put on display at the Coolsonian Criminology Museum. It wasn't brought to life by the Evil Masked Figure.

Physical appearance[]

The costume resembles an old grey-skinned and grey-haired woman, wearing a tattered black, blue and purple dress and shawl, with a black and purple witch hat.

History[]

Early life[]

It was worn by Aggie Wilkins who Mystery Incorporated brought to justice. They later donated the costume to the Coolsonian Criminology Museum.

Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed[]

The Ozark Witch was put on display in the Coolsonian Criminology Museum. Later, the costume was stolen along with all the others by the Black Knight Ghost, the 10,000 Volt Ghost (Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed) and the Evil Masked Figure. It was not brought to life, however, it could have been brought to life but just not featured in the movie. The costume was later returned to the museum.

Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (GBA)[]

The Ozark Witch was one of the costumes taken from the Coolsonian Criminology Museum and brought to life by the Evil Masked Figure. She later became a minor recurring enemy that attacked Shaggy when he was trying to escape the Faux Ghost, and Scooby when he was making his way through the Coolsville Mining Company to try shutting down the Monster control panel.

Her method of attacking is using her wand to shoot magic, but takes a little wind-up before doing it.

Appearances[]

Notes/Trivia[]

  • It is based on Ghost of Witch McCoy from the The Scooby-Doo Show episode The Ozark Witch Switch.
  • The film version has a dark blue outfit and a hat, while the cartoon version has a pink and magenta outfit and no hat.
  • The Ozark Witch was one of the monsters seen chasing civilians on the street in early film concept art, hinting that it was to be brought to life at one point,
    • Concept art for a living Ozark Witch was drawn by August Hall, who was involved in the art department for the film, alongside other scrapped monsters including Redbeard's Ghost, the Ghost Clown, and the Headless Horseman, which also implies it was to be brought to life at one point during production.
    • The Ozark Witch was, however, brought to life in the Game Boy Advance version of the film's adaption, appearing as a recurring enemy, along with one of the Scholastic novelization.
