Notes/trivia[]
- There has been real-life controversy over apartment development near the Boardwalk.
Cultural references[]
- Shaggy and Scooby-Doo eat at Nelson's Famous, a hot-dog stand that sponsors an annual hot-dog-eating contest. This is a reference to the real Nathan's Famous, which has such a contest.

Coloring mistakes[]
- On page 6, when Velma and Wilson notice the devil monster has returned, you can see one of her legs does not have markings to indicate socks. However, in this panel that entire leg is colored in to match the orange sock on her other foot.
- Also, the coloring on the shoes of the side character, Wilson, are inconsistent throughout the issue, one time appearing white, then blue, then one green and another brown at the same time.
Inconsistencies/continuity errors and/or goofs/oddities[]
- None known.
