Early life[]
He brought his family from Germany to America during the immigration period. When they disembarked to Ellis Island, he fell to his knees in triumph that they were free, before being told to move along by a worker. They then walked to another worker who asked for his name, with Otto proudly announcing "Von Dinkenstein", only to have the man change it to "Dinkley".
