After ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer's dummy, Petunia, went missing from her motel room, Mystery Inc., Farmer, and Jeff Dunham visited the motel owner's house in search of the doll. Upon entering the house, they found Petunia hidden in a chest. They discovered that the motel's owner, intending to start a doll museum, collected dolls and dummies with her son, stealing Petunia from Farmer's room. The old lady and her son turned hostile against Mystery Inc., chasing them through the house to acquire Petunia and Walter, Dunham's dummy. However, they escaped with the help of event organizer Baz Bozzington.
