- This article is about the cyber character from Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase. For its namesake who was really the disguise of Mama Mione, see Old Iron Face.
Old Iron Face is a recreation of Old Iron Face, made for Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase, made by Eric Staufer.
Physical appearance[]
Like his real-world counterpart, Old Iron Face has an intimidating appearance. He has a huge masculine body built with a wide chest and broad shoulders. An iron mask covers his face, revealing his green eyes. His outfit slightly resembles a pirate with a captain's hat, a light blue, long-sleeved collared shirt under a black tunic, a pink belt, jean-colored pants, and high black boots with shoe buckles.
Personality[]
Old Iron Face is relentless stopping at nothing to achieve his goals only slowing down if he's frightened by something such as a charging goat. He's cunning as seen when posed as a wax figure to lure in the Velmas before surprise attacking them. Most versions of him were intent on doing their purpose which was guarding the box of Scooby Snacks only going after those who went after it.
Powers and abilities[]

History[]
Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase[]
After Eric heard about the gang's many cases featuring mostly costumed crooks he decided to implement those stories for his game, Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase. He even adapted several monsters he heard about as hostel NPCs but unlike their real-world counterparts these monsters would be "real" and not people in costumes. One of these monsters was Old Iron Face, created to guard the final level's box of Scooby Snacks located at the arcade within CyberLand.
He was the fifth and final monster that both the real Mystery Inc. and their cyber counterparts encountered when they tried escaping the other level's monsters and the Phantom Virus via the beach, but they were quickly stopped by Old Iron Face riding in on his torpedo sharks. The gangs quickly figured out how real these monsters were. The gangs ran inside the park splitting up into pairs and, after being ordered to by the Phantom Virus, he began chasing after Velma and Cyber Velma.
He later was seen in the wax museum posing as a wax figure near some boiling wax attacking the Velmas when they got close to him. This plan backfired when both Velma's got scared and lost their glasses and as a result they both accidentally bumped into him causing Old Iron Face to stumble into the cauldron of boiling wax. He was able to get out but the wax quickly hardened around him stopping him from moving until he simply broke out of his wax casing to continue his pursuit of the Velmas.
He was later seen again chasing the Velmas into a petting zoo where they stopped to pet a baby goat, only for them to be chased again. However, a male goat, likely the baby goat's father, chased Iron Face instead and headbutted him into a hen's nest. When Iron Face crashed into the hen's nest his eyes were covered in eggs and a baby chick hatched out of his hat.
Sometime after this, he grouped up with the level's other monsters and they were able to corner all the members of the cyber gang aside from Cyber Scooby. Old Iron Face, and the other monsters, despawned when the level was beaten. [1]
Scooby-Doo and Cyber Chase' (GBA)[]
Old Iron Face was one of the bosses for Eric's game acting as the boss for the Boardwalk level. It was defeated by a member of Mystery Inc. [2]

- Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase (novel based on the film) (no lines)
- Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase (GBA tie-in game with the film)
- Boardwalk (no lines)
Notes/trivia[]
- Despite being "real" within the game Old Iron Face still uses fake metallic torpedo sharks.
- This version of Old Iron Face might have vision problems. Now this could be a writing oversight however while he's attacking the Velmas in the wax museum he fails to notice the real Velma and walks right past her.
- If this is the case it's somewhat fitting he goes after Velma who famously needs glasses to see properly.
