He does have often acts aggressive being very protective of the university however he does have a softer side to him when he's not in control. Despite his pride towards both his job and his "perfect" record he seems rather incompetent not even being able to notice a monster attacking university even thinking it's a simple college prank. the He seems to have a disdain towards dogs. At first, he was suspicious about Mystery Inc as they were at the university to cause trouble, but when the gang was zapped into Cyberspace, he grew to both and care about them watching them within the game.

History[]

Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase[]

Mystery Inc. quickly encountered officer Wembley when they arrived at the university, to vist their friend Eric Staufer, he inspected them and made sure they were meant to be there. After he confirmed they are allowed on campus grounds he went on a long ramble about his perfect twinty year record but, little did he know Scooby took his hat and began mockingly impersonating him during this rant. Once he found what the dog was doing he became determined to keep a special eye on him implicar. They made their separate ways after he gave the gang directions to the computer lab. Soon after he was keeping a watchful eye on them in the hallway while they were in the computer lab likely to make sure they wouldn't cause more trouble.

Velma, Fred, and Daphne encountered the officer for the second time in the basement while they were looking for the Phantom Virus they even mistaked officer Wembley for the virus. He was immediately suspicious of them for being in a staff only area. They tried to explain they were after the Phantom Virus but he quickly told them that he thought the Phantom Virus was simply a college prank and seemly implying that the gang had something to do if it. He refused to listen to their protests and told them to come with his to Kaufman's lab. At the lab Wembley is eats chips sitting and demanding the three of them stay until Professor Kaufman gets back. Soon after this order Scooby and Shaggy run in being chased by the virus and he's disarrayed by the ensuing chase between the six of them. After the gang transported into the Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase game and he was told that they would have to play through all the levels to get out, he seemed genuinely concerned for their safety and even asked if there was anything they could do to get them out, before being informed that the gang had to play through all the levels to get out. When the gang completed the game and go back to the real world, they suspected Wembley because he was seemingly the only other person in the room at the time they were sent into they game, although he seemly had no true motive. When Bill McLemore was revealed to be the culprit he quickly chased him down and arrested him. Officer Wembley took him away likely bringing him to the proper authorities for his crimes.[1]
