He loaned it to Shaggy Rogers to shave his whiskers off, because of Fred's grandma, whom they were visiting, was very particular about her company. Shaggy abided, but was stopped by the Ghost of Iron John Metal Mouth. Shaggy tried to stop him by shoving the shaver into the monster's mouth, but it chomped down on it (giving himself an electric shock in the process).
