Locations

Notes/trivia

  • Daphne narrates the opening in this episode instead of Shaggy. This could be due to the fact that Shaggy was angry at Scooby and wouldn't want to say his name (all openings end with "... a pup named Scooby-Doo").
  • The first time in the franchise that Shaggy and Scooby are in a fight. Despite the fact that both do not want to talk to each other, they both sit very close to each other, dance together in the musical chase sequence and work well together to deceive the monster.
  • It is never revealed what caused Shaggy and Scooby to fight: one could only speculate what it could have been?

Quotes

Daphne: (narration) It all started when Velma and I went to Shaggy's house one Friday night. It was a chance to show of my new designer robe, and to watch Count Shockula with the boys and a pup named Scooby-Doo.

Daphne: Aw, it's good to see you two friends again.
Freddie: Yeah, but what we're you guys arguing about anyway?
Shaggy: Huh? Oh, like, you tell them, Scoob.
Scooby: No, you tell them.
Shaggy: No, I insist, like, you tell them!
Scooby: You tell them, Raggy!
Freddie, Velma, and Daphne: (coughing angrily)
Shaggy: Like, actually I, well I guess I don't remember what we were fighting about. Do you, Scoob?
Scooby: Err? Not really. (chuckles)
Shaggy: (laughs) But whatever it was, I'm glad to be friends again with my pal, a pup named...
Scooby: ...Scooby-Dooby-Doo! (licks Shaggy)
Scooby and Shaggy: (put their arms over each other's shoulders)
