Mystery Inc. travelled to New York City to enter Shaggy into the Poetry Slam against singer Halsey, but the event was hijacked by the Gator Man Monster who was after the lost treasure of deceased magnate J. Jacob Ascot. Mystery Inc. travelled through the city's subterranea, found the treasure, and unmasked the Gator Man Monster as the Poetry Slam promoter. (The New York Underground!)
Season two[]
Mystery Inc. revisited New York City to meet with Lucy Liu at her art museum. There, they investigated a sculpture monster terrorizing her museum. At the end of their investigation, they exposed notorious jewel thief Jimmy the Pidgeon as the culprit, and they also found the lost Birchenwald Emerald that had been lost for twenty years after Jimmy stole it from the John F. Kennedy International Airport. (The Tao of Scoob!)
Scooby-Doo! Moon Monster Madness[]
In a thought experiment, Ridley predicted New York would be one of the first places taken over by aliens.[1]
