According to their advertising, the snacks are made from fish oil, flax, and wheat. But Destroido Corp., who bought the recipe from Grandma Moonbeam, secretly added about 11.999% landfill waste and .001% corn syrup to "make [them] more tasty."

Season one[]
Nature Slivers were seen in a commercial at the Crystal Cove Hospital.
Later, when Grandma Moonbeam was revealed to be the Cicada Creature, she said it was to get revenge on Destroido for what they did to Nature Slivers. Although she demanded them to stop adding landfill waste to the recipe, Ed Machine refused because their profits had skyrocketed since it was added.
Post Nibiru []
When the Evil Entity was destroyed, it created an alternate timely where its influence never happened. In the new timeline, Destroido was replaced with an eco-friendly company called Creationex Corp. It can be implied that Nature Slivers are still owned by Grandma Moonbeam post Nibiru due to the fact that Destroido no longer exists.
