Muttley is an anthropomorphic mixed breed dog of relatively unknown origin and a member of the Vulture Squadron. He is the pet/sidekick of Dick Dastardly

Physical appearance[]

Muttley is a hairy short dog of mixed breed origin. He appears to be a mixture between a bloodhound, airedale, pointer and hunting dog. His eyes and ears are the color black and seems to have less hair on his paws and legs. He has a large overbite with two sharp canine teeth sticking out from his bottom lip. He also has furry and floppy ears.

Personality[]

Muttley is a very mischievous canine. He enjoys his fair share of causing trouble and is fairly cantankerous and conniving. He enjoys a good laugh and seems to laugh at other's misfortune. Particularly Dick Dastardly. He also seems to be a slightly defective hunting dog when he led himself and Dick Dastardly into a large sinking pit of mud. He also has a slight obsession with obtaining medals. Muttley floats into the air while gently landing on the ground like Scooby Doo as a puppy when getting one or two Scooby Snacks

History[]

Appearances[]

Notes/trivia[]

  • Originally, Dick Dastardly and Muttley (characters co-owned by Heatter-Quigley Productions) were going to be the captains of the Really Rottens in Laff-a-Lympics. But due to legal issues, they were replaced with Dread Baron and Mumbly, respectively.
  • A Laff-a-Lympics comic book info revealed that he and Mumbly were actually cousins.
