All the hot dogs at Funland had mustard on them.[1]

Although he didn't seem to use any, Shaggy had put a jar of mustard out on the table he was making his jaw-stretcher special, in the back of the Mystery Machine as it was driving.[2]

Season two

Shaggy wanted to flip a coin to decide if they'd take the short or long way to the rock festival, but didn't have one so he substituted with a slice of bologna, by putting mustard on one side.[3]

A doctor told Shaggy to take a rest from solving mysteries after the last one sent him into a state of one continuous scream that lasted for hours. The gang had found a spa resort, but Shaggy also wasn't allowed to get in the Mystery Machine either, so Fred painted out the word "Mystery" with "Mustard".[4]
