Ms. Takai is a tall, physically fit Japanese womaan, with short black hair styled with a red headband in her hair. She wears a black skirt, white shirt, and a red coat and red bowtie as part of her Coolsonian Museum uniform.
Personality
Ms. Takai is dedicated to her job as a tour guide. She is also very superstitious in claiming that her swords are cursed and that anyone who touches them will be cursed by the ghost of the evil warlord Samurai, Lord Asakari.

She is able to speak Japanese.
History
A Pup Named Scooby-Doo
Season one
Her swords were stolen by the Samurai Ghost. She was also a suspect of stealing them herself because the gang found an insurance policy saying that she would get a million dollars if the swords were stolen and never recovered. However, because it was revealed the Samurai Ghost didn't speak or understand Japanese, which Ms. Takai did, she was found innocent. She thanked the gang for finding her swords, and provided Scooby-Doo with a brontosaurus bone as an award for catching Mr. Dayton, the true thief.
