Mr. Ellis was the groundskeeper at a soccer stadium.
Physical appearance[]
Ellis is a middle-aged male with brown hair. He wore a black jacket and pants with ride stripes on the sides over a white and red striped shirt and black shoes.
Personality[]
Ellis was a very grouchy man, annoyed about how the Red Rockets soccer team constantly loses each game and has a strict rule for visitors being in the fields before the games are about to start. However, it was later revealed that he was a calculating and evil person, kidnapping the Blue Blazers best player with something he created so his son's team could finally get the advantage to win for once. Even though cheating was unnecessary as the whole point of sports was to have fun.
History[]
Scooby-Doo! and the Soccer Monster[]
Mr. Ellis was busy doing his job setting up the fields while being really grouchy about it being yet another game where his son Larry, part of the Red Rockets soccer team, was going to lose against the Blue Blazers. He calls out the Shaggy and Scooby that they're only aloud a couple more minutes on the field before the game starts.
He later sat back evilly grinning while his son Larry took the fields with his buddies. He shortly vanished from the area as a giant monster referee the cowards saw earlier showed up and kidnapped the Blue Blazers best player, Bobby Blaine. After a big commotion and arguments happened on who did what, Fred and the others started up a plan to capture the monster and find Bobby. He was completely unaware of it until he and Larry saw/got fooled by Shaggy and Scooby, under the alias's as South American star players Shaggio Tamale and Scooburrito de la Doo. He and Larry both splitted up to try and do something about the two "new players".
Mr. Ellis is apprehended.
However, he was shortly caught by Velma after she saw him suspiciously rush to his equipment shed and found out that the monster was a mechanical puppet he controlled from under the field, Bobby was also rescued and they tied Ellis up before bringing him out through a trapdoor. Larry was also caught as he turned out to also be involved in getting rid of Bobby in order to have the Red Rockets finally win a game for once. They were both taken away by authorities the following morning.
