This article is about the character from the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode Jeepers, It's the Creeper. For the character from the State Farm commercial Scooby-Doo, see Mr. Carswell (State Farm). There's also Deacon Carlswell from the Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated episode The Legend of Alice May.

Mr. Carswell was a bank president.

Physical appearance

Mr. Carswell is a slightly overweight and out-of-shape middle-aged Caucasian male with combed white hair, double chin, and partially jowled cheeks. He wears a blue suit, white shirt, and a black necktie, along with frameless glasses.

Personality

He appeared to be friendly and well-mannered, even showing concern when the gang brought the knocked-out bank guard to his home, but he was actually an amoral and cruel embezzler who would stop at nothing in finding and destroy any incriminating evidence of his crimes, as evident when he violently beat up one of his own bank guards who had evidence against him.

History

Early life

He dressed up as the Creeper so he could take the money from his own bank without arousing suspicions from anyone.

Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!

Season two

Mr

Mr. Carswell unmasked.

Mystery Inc. met him when they found one of his bank guards lying semi-conscious in the middle of the road and via a letter that Scooby-Doo found, Fred Jones read that the address was close by.

They brought him to Carswell's house. Once the gang had left for the barn dance, Carswell then proceeded to tie up the bank guard and lock him in the basement; then went after Scooby-Doo and the gang because he realized they held the evidence (they innocently took from the bank guard) that proved he was embezzling money from the bank.
