Moose Creek is an abandoned town that was submerged in Big Moose Lake.

History[]

Early history[]

Moose Creek was originally a mining town.

After a committing a bank robbery, gangster Ricky LaRue buried the money in the town.

The town could not have been flooded any earlier than 1949, as a movie from that year, White Heat, was playing in the town's movie theater.

Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare[]

Before LaRue died, he told his cellmate Babyface Boretti the steeple will show the way when dawn breaks on the summer solstice. After escaping from prison, Boretti conspired with Ranger Knudsen to find the treasure. To cover their search, Knudsen dressed up as the Fishman to look for Moose Creek using stolen sonar equipment from Camp Big Moose, and used the Woodsman disguise to scare everyone away from Camp Little Moose so they could blow up the dam to get to the treasure. Boretti also dressed up as a camper named Deacon in order to get everyone to leave the camp as well.

After the dam was blown up, Mystery Inc., Burt, Luke, Trudy, and Jessica find the treasure and foil Boretti and Knudsen's plan. After the villains were arrested, Moose Creek was converted into Camp Little Big Moose.
