History[]

Early history[]

Shortly after the infamous pirate captain Morgan Moonscar and his crew arrived to the island and killing the inhabitants, Simone and Lena transformed into werecats and killed the pirates in revenge.

Mansion during the plantation

The mansion being built as a pepper plantation

Years later, spice traders arrived into the island to start a pepper plantation. The traders would build a mansion by using the scrapped parts of the "Maelstrom", Moonscar's pirate ship. As the plantation flourished, Simone and Lena eventually appeared in the harvest moon to drain the life forces of the spice traders, before claiming the mansion as their own home.

During the American Civil War, Confederate troops built a secret underground tunnel below the mansion's staircase as a means to hide from Union soldiers. Simone and Lena would eventually use the tunnel as a gateway to their voodoo ritual site, where they can drain their victim's lifeforce in every harvest moon.

Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island[]

After overhearing the Mystery Inc. needing footages of a real haunted house, Lena approaches them and invites them to Moonscar Island. There, they would arrive to the mansion, where it is littered with Simone's cats. Simone invites the Mystery Inc. to a tour of the mansion, and the gang spends time studying the dark history of the island.

Shortly after discovering the messages on the walls of the kitchen written by Moonscar's ghost, Velma would later reveal the name of the "Maelstrom", Moonscar's ship, discovering that parts of the ship would later be used to build the mansion.

Later during the night, when the Mystery Inc. stays in their guest room, Shaggy and Scooby stumbles upon a mirror once owned by Jackson T. Pettigrew, a Confederate soldier from the American Civil War.

After escaping from a horde of zombies, the Mystery Inc. tries to find Lena and Simone, only for the mansion to be completely dark and it's powers out from the generator. Fred approaches the staircase before tripping and finding Lena down the secret underground tunnel.

After defeating the werecats, the gang stays in the mansion for the night, before leaving the island the following morning.

Footnotes[]

  1. Daphne refers to it as that name, although it seems unlikely that Simone would call it that given what Morgan Moonscar did to her people, but then again she didn't seem to have a problem with naming the island after him.
