Monster Road Rally

The Monster Road Rally, also known as the Transylvania Grand Prix, is an annual monster race held in Transylvania and hosted by Count Dracula on KRUD TV.

Scooby-Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf

Famous monsters compete for the "Monster of the Year" award and prizes. When Dracula receives a letter from Wolfie, one of his best racers, informing him that he had retired and would not be participating, Dracula was afraid he would have to cancel the race. However, he soon learnt that there was a way to create a new werewolf and the prime candidate was none other than Shaggy Rogers. Dracula sent his two minions Brunch and Crunch, the "Hunch Bunch", to transform Shaggy into a werewolf. After they successfully changed Shaggy into a canine, they dragged him to Transylvania, along with Scooby-Doo, Scrappy-Doo and his girlfriend, Googie. Once they arrived, Shaggy didn't want to compete, but made a deal with Dracula that if he won then Dracula must turn him back into his normal self. After having his fangs crossed when he made the deal, Dracula immediately started scheming ways to prevent him from winning. He kept Shaggy from sleeping for most of the night before the race and detuned his car before the race. When Shaggy and Scooby still managed to pull into first place, Dracula sent the Hunch Bunch out to sabotage them farther. Many of their attempts were thwarted, however, by Scrappy and Googie who were driving off course and keeping an eye on things, contacting Shaggy via radio. During all of this, the remaining monsters battle it out on the track in outrageous vehicles. When Googie and Scrappy were trapped with the Schlockness Monster, Scooby and Shaggy rushed to save them and even managed to still win the race. However, when Shaggy demanded to be turned back, Dracula refused, revealing that he had his fangs crossed. The group stole Dracula's spell book and made a run for it, pursued by Dracula in his bat-car and airplane. Narrowly escaping his missiles and Drac-Vac, the heroes returned home safely.
