The Monster Hive is the laboratory of Dr. Jonathan Jacobo. It contained the monster machine and the control panel to bring costumes to life.

History[]
Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed[]
The gang discovered the Monster Hive during an investigation into the Coolsville Mines and found the machine used to turn the stolen costumes into real monsters. When several of the monsters were accidentally brought to life by Shaggy and Scooby, Fred broke off the control panel to disable the machine and escaped. The gang later escaped to their old high school clubhouse where they worked together to rewire the control panel.
Velma would later return to Monster Hive to investigate and found clues. She would later run into Patrick who she suspects being the culprit. Velma almost falling the railing is saved by Patrick who persuades her to trust him, after he saves her he pushes her out of the way to save her from being snatched by the Pterodactyl Ghost and instead gets caught by the monster.
They later returned to the Monster Hive and needed to reconnect the reprogrammed control panel to destroy all of the monsters that had been brought to life. The Tar Monster quickly stops Fred, Velma, Daphne and Shaggy by trapping them in his tar. Scooby is left, and with the use of a fire extinguisher, he harden the monster's tar, free's his friends and places the control panel back on the base, reversing the effects turning all the costumes back to normal.
