The Monster was a robotic suit controlled by Mrs. McGhoul.
Physical appearance[]
The monster is a pale, black haired human looking creature wearing a black jacket over a blue shirt, brown pants and black boots.
Personality[]
It was rather frightening, and mysterious do to it's unknown origins, attacking and attempting to kidnap those who wander abandoned areas.
History[]
Scooby-Doo! World of Mystery[]
It was discovered by the gang's friend Professor Strudelklinger, a teacher known for his knowledge of monsters and legends, he ended up getting kidnapped when his call for help to the gang gets cut off.
The monster eventually shows up when Shaggy and Scooby were left alone in the kitchen, since the other three members fell through various traps around the mansion owned by Mrs. McGhoul. It chased them around the mansion for a bit and lost site before wandering off, not realizing they hid in a suit of armor.
Later, when the gang regrouped in an underground dungeon, the gang found various studies Strudelklinger did when trying to get information on the monster.
It made one last appearance as it tried to grab Shaggy and Scooby when they found the professor tied to a chair on the upper floor, but ends up falling down a trapdoor used by the rest of the gang, sending it sliding all the way down to the dungeon, where it's trapped in a cage and completely dazed.

The worst mystery solving leader revealed.
They went down stairs along with the professor, and upon getting a closer look at the monster, they discovered that it was mechanical, and even heard a voice coming from the inside of it. They got the monster out of the cage and opened the stomach hatch to discover it was Mrs. McGhoul, an old woman who was the leader of the worst group in the world, the "McGhoul Mystery team", as she created the robotic suit, rigged her house with traps and built the underground dungeon to keep other mystery groups captive while her group can get the chance to solve cases.

Trivia[]
- The monsters design is heavily based on the Creeper from the SDWAY episode, Jeepers, It's the Creeper. As the artwork used for the magazine cover and story title card reuses actually art and gives it a recolor, minus that it's hair is gray instead of black.
