Notes/trivia

  • In real-life, Moe Howard was the stage name of Moses Harry Horwitz (1897-1975). Howard was the de facto leader in the Three Stooges vaudville act, being the first member in its original incarnation in 1925. Howard continued to perform with the Stooges until 1970 when Larry Fine's stroke put an end to his career, and Joe DeRita needed to support his ailing wife. He was persistent in trying to reform the group until his death in 1975, effectively putting an end to the Three Stooges.
