Miss Mirimoto was a Japanese martial arts instructor at her own prestigious school.

Physical appearance

Miss Mirimoto is a middle-aged Asian female, with black hair, and lavender eye shadow. She has a slim figure. She also applies red lipstick. She wears her hair in a bun with two chopsticks and a red and purple kimono.

At first glance, Miss Mirimoto appears to be a calm individual, testing students at her martial arts studio and always driven to the do what others won't do. However it's later revealed she's manipulative and cruel and holds a grudge against modern Japan, disillusioned by how the world turned out. She also is not afraid to turn against her students like how she fought Miyumi after she turned on her without hesitation. Her faults in the end were her pride and overconfidence as she released the Black Samurai believing he would obey her only for him to turn on her and knock her unconscious.

Scooby-Doo! and the Samurai Sword

She staged a tournament to bring Mystery Inc. to Japan so that they would find the Sword of Doom for her. She has a small army of ninja robots implanted with the different fighting techniques of her students. After retrieving the Sword of Doom, Mirimoto revealed that she wished to release the Black Samurai because of her disgust and hatred to the modern Japan and wished to restore it to its natural state.

Upon releasing the Black Samurai, she expected him to obey her and call her master. Unfortunately, not taking orders from anyone, the Black Samurai turned on her and rendered her unconscious.

It's possible that she and Sojo were arrested due to their somewhat involvement in the Tokyo blackout and her school was eventually shut down for good.
