Miranda Wright is a mini-golfer.

Physical appearance

Miranda is a young Caucasian female with long blonde hair held in a ponytail with a lavender bow. She wears a purple short-sleeved polo golf shirt with an orange collar, an orange golf visor hat, orange jeans skirt and orange sneakers with short white socks.

Miranda is arrogant, self-absorbed and obsessed with victory at all costs, given her nasty "spoiled brat" attitude. She doesn't make friends with others at all, even scaring Scooby-Doo. She proves to be a bad sport after losing a golf game to Shaggy Rogers. She got angry at Gary Snipper when he briefly got in her way, to which he returned the insult by calling her "Shortcakes" and told her to bite her lip.

Skills and abilities

She is a talented mini-golf player and is apparently good in mechanics.

What's New, Scooby-Doo?

Season three

She was competing with Shaggy for the championship, when they first met before the tournament, she insults Shaggy when he tries to greet her.

Halfway through the tournament she was in third place and was not at all happy.

Velma and Scooby spyed on her working on something mechanical in her van, making her a suspect for operating the Menacing Metallic Clown.

When the gang informed Mayor Snipper about Cougar's fate she didn't even care and coldly mocks Shaggy at how she'll soon make it to first in the tournament.

At the final hole it's revealed that the mechanical thing she was working in her van was a mechanical putter to help her win the tournament. However it proved to be faulty on the 18th hole as the putter hit her ball off the course and into a nearby water hazard. In frustration and anger, she threw her invention to the ground, destroying it, and stomped off as Shaggy stepped in and won the tournament.

  • Miranda Wright shares the same first name with her voice actress.
  • Her name is a parody of the "Miranda rights law", which means a right to silence warning given by police in the United States to criminal suspects taken into custody.
  • She shares her full name and blonde hair with another character from Disney series Bonkers, but with differences: the Disney character is older, taller, and kind-hearted, unlike the arrogant and self-centered Scooby-Doo character.
