Mieczysław Gajda was a Polish theatre, television and voice over actor. He was the voice of Scrappy-Doo in the 1988 Polish VHS versions of the first, second and third incarnations of the show involving him. Unlike later interpretations of the character, which based the voice on the American version, Gajda performed Scrappy as a high pitch sounding puppy.
Other roles include Brainy Smurf from The Smurfs, Looney Tunes' Daffy Duck, Benny the Ball from Top Cat, and Yogi Bear.
Gajda died in 2017, at the age of 85.
