I believe I found the true identity to the Cotton Candy Glob while researching SD2. According to multiple websites, a feature from SD2 called 'Scooby's True Ghoul Hollywood Stories' has the Cotton Candy Glob's true name in it. That name is Timmy Belafonte, and he worked at a carnival and had a huge obsession with cotton candy. Eventually, he was arrested by Mystery, Inc. and so, the 'brought to life', etc. stuff began.
Timmy Belafonte? On my copy of the DVD, it just calls him Timmy, and it never said he worked at a carnival.. but actually in an interview with James Gunn, he said that the cotton candy glob was actually from the episode “the Haunted Candy Factory”.
Although I can't find the original picture with the Tiki Witch Doctor (it seems the original source deleted it), I was able to find a picture of yet another Creeper bust, when it was supposed to come alive.
Also, on another note. I see Scoobypedia here talks about a deleted scene in the Monster Hive where the Headless Horseman gets its head off and its body runs into a wall, I can't find any articles besides here mentioning the Headless Horseman was supposed to be a living costume? Is that a novelization thing, or it just never happened?
To be totally honest, I would've been fine if basically any other monster besides the Zombie was brought to life. At this point, a zombie walking around is kinda generic at this point, with all these 'dead' shows going on with apocalypses and things.
On another note, I have a FanFiction.net account, and I will be using it to make a novelization of SD2 MY way, with more monsters being brought to life, taking inspiration from scrapped ones, as well as monsters that were never intended to be brought to life, like the Ghost of Dr Coffin. Also, I recently purchased 'Il Cuoco Malgiova' (The Evil Chef) from Amazon, and have been translating it into English, so once I'm done translating it I'll be sure to update its page.
Also, quick thought: it is pretty convenient how Jonathon Jakobo stole an entire museum's worth of costumes, had to bring them all to life, but conveniently brought only a select to life to create a loophole so that once those select monsters are defeated, his plan is basically screwed.
Oh wow! I got a request, do you think you could try to do every monster from the museum as a living monster in your fanfic? I could give you some suggestions for scenes with specific monsters if you’d like!
Can you please stop screwing around with monster pages and whether or not they've appeared in Monsters Unleashed? You're removing, adding, then removing, or adding, and not once with an explanation. It looks like vandalism in the end.
Nate, you're essentially adding something that will just have to be removed in the end. Treat the monsters in Monsters Unleashed as if they've never appeared before. And if you make any page based on any monster in Monsters Unleashed, then make sure they are disambiguated with the full movie title.
