Hi, I saw your profile and I was wondering if you could please help me with my draft page of the quote Those Meddling Kids!. The beaucrat "The Atomic Light" says he will make this page real if the draft is a success and I feel that a page dedicated to that particular quote would be very interesting. I’ve been a wikia/fandom editor for years now. I’m also a lifelong Scooby-Doo fan. English is my mother tongue and my first written language as well. I find it rather hurtful of you removing my edits as some of the stuff on that page is grammatically incorrect as well as factually incorrect with what happens on screen. The page “Velma Dinkley Loses Her Glasses” is a page sharing the examples about which Scooby media it was that it happened and how. “She complains about Shaggy breaking them” is not an explanation of how she lost her glasses, to name an example.
I’m sorry I didn’t mean to trash the episode templates. You kinda came off harsh deleting all my edits with the grammar and facts. And the returning function was in the remote that caused the glasses to return to her. Not necessarily in the glasses themselves...
Unfortunately trashing a post is often the easiest way to revert the changes you need reverted, without picking through everything. It's been done to me.
And as I learnt and taught in my real life job as a reviewer of others' reports and letters, a passage needs to be factual, grammatically correct, concise and user friendly. Often less is better, even when extra info makes it more accurate.
Well something has to be in the glasses, otherwise they wouldn't return when the remote is used.
It’s a cartoon. Haha nothing is in the glasses it’s all in the remote. If you were noticing Urkel always gave members of the gang things and even though they didn’t mention it it would make sense that it’s all in the remote.
I've noticed your work and I'm pleased at how you've been following the rules. I have a favor to ask. The other admins haven't been around much, and I'm not promoting u. I ask that if u see anything that should be undone, would u try to fix it or notify me? You'd be a big help on this.
There's one issue I did notice and posted it to the eps talk page - as its a SD & Guess Who that hasn;t aired in the US. TheAtomicLight fixed the heading on the ep page, but the page address is still wrong.and it would be better to fix now than once it's unprotected and more links are made to it.
The ep is #25 - The High School Wolfman's Musical Lament - the page address says "School School". I put a fix of sorts on the series ep listing page when it was unprotected, but it will need an edit once the ep page is fixed.
No character refers to the Spooky Space Kook as the Spooky Space Kook, but we just identify it as such because it the name of the episode helps us out. It's the same with the Space Ape's setting being in Cape Canaveral, because it's never identified as such, but presumably it's still set there.
