After the gang had caught and unmasked the Headless Snowman, the culprit, Prof. Higginson, decided to give the gold he was after to the whole town of Winter Hollow as an apology for the damage he caused, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas as Scooby turns on the town's Christmas tree lights
