The Whirlen Merlin Magic Academy is located in O'Flannery Castle and run by stage magician expert, Whirlen Merlin. O'Flannery Castle was brought over to America from Ireland by Shamis O'Flannery, an 18th century Irish noble who was said to practice real magic. It is also the school where Madelyn Dinkley, sister of Velma Dinkley, attends to learn stage magic.
