Max Fielding Psychic University is a school for people with psychic abilities, located in the Pocono Mountains.

Early history[]
The Max Fielding Psychic University was named after its namesake founder, Maximillian Fielding. Fielding declared that the school was not allowed to close as long as a single student was enrolled. However, if the school were to close, the property would be entrusted to his closest living descendant. Following Fielding's death in 1951, the university was entrusted to Williams, who became the new headmaster.
Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?[]
Season one[]
One of Fielding's descendants, the school's unnamed cafeteria lady, created the Nightmare Ghost to scare the school's students away, thus forcing it to close and allowing her to inherit the property. The Nightmare Ghost first appeared during a seance conducted by one of the students, Whoopi Goldberg. However, Mystery Inc. arrived and assisted Goldberg in capturing the ghost and exposing the perpetrator for the crime. After solving the crime, Headmaster Williams commended Goldberg for her service to the school, allowing it to avoid closure.
