History[]
Scooby-Doo! World of Mystery[]
He and his brother Luigi made a to steal paintings in the Dodge's Palace.
He coded himself in picture paint giving him a phosphorant ghost look and worn an 18th century outfit basing himself off the prison convict, Giacomo Casanova. While his brother would tell ghost stories and also give him a rope to use to make it look like he was floating outside the Bridge of Sighs.
The plan went on for a good while, until the gang's visit led to consequences.
The gang thought Luigi was the ghost (do to the similar facial features) but didn't know who Mario was at the time.
At one point, Shaggy crashed into Mario when he was in disguise and they both fell through an open window and into the water.

Mario unmasked.
He was then revealed as the culprit, leaving the gang completely confused. His brother caught up and saw the aftermath, and then explained their entire plan.
Both him and Luigi sat down and excepted defeat as they both waited for the arrival of the authorities to arrest them and take them to a court case.
