Prof. Greer as the Mantis

The Mantis came out of the ferns and chased the mailman. When Scooby-Doo gave the flowers to the Mantis, it sneezed. Professor Greer told the gang about the Praying Mantis.

The Mantis continued to chase the gang, even taking Daphne Blake hostage. When it was finally trapped, the three suspects ended up appearing. The Mantis was revealed to be Professor Greer.

Appearances

Notes/trivia

  • Professor Greer must have been allergic to flowers because he was the Mantis when he sneezed from the flowers.
  • The Mantis also appeared not as a monster but as one of the costumes in the Coolsonian Criminology Museum in Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.
  • At the beginning, the Mantis appeared to be almost as tall as a truck when facing the mailman, but strangley, it was a smaller size when it attacked Mystery Inc..
