Needed: History is incomplete.

Magilla Gorilla is an anthropomorphic pet gorilla at Mr. Peebles's pet store. In Scooby-Doo! and Guess Who, he was adopted by Wanda Sykes, apparently being given a happy ending, after spending a lifetime with Mr. Peebles, who had long since tired of Magilla's antics.

Physical appearance

Magilla is a large brown-furred gorilla who wears a pair of brown loafers, magenta pants held up with green suspenders, a purple bow tie, as well as a purple derby hat on his head, with a green band speckled with black spots. In Guess Who, he looks more-or-less the same, except his eyes lack whites, and his pupils are much smaller.

Personality

Magilla is a kindly, loyal gorilla, if not somewhat playful. He rarely ever intends to cause any trouble for others, and if he does cause problems, he is quick to try and fix them.

History

Scooby-Doo! Mask of the Blue Falcon

There was a poster of Magilla at the Mondo Pop Comic Con-A-Palooza.[1]

Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?

Season one

He was a non-speaking gorilla who still managed to make trouble for Mr. Peebles' pet shop; He was finally adopted by Wanda Sykes. (Peebles' Pet Shop of Terrible Terrors!)

Notes/trivia

  • Despite the fact that the incarnations of Magilla in both the Team-Up and Guess Who? are supposed to be in standard continuity, the latter is completely different from Magilla's established character from his own show The Magilla Gorilla Show.
