The Madds Markson Monster was the disguise of Teller.

Physical appearance[]

The Madds Markson Monster is a large anthropomorphic white rabbit with red eyes. It has long ears, two buckteeth, and a substantial amount of fur around its head and shoulders. It also has large, muscular arms and legs, and is usually seen either with a hunchback or on all fours.

Personality[]

The Madds Markson Monster is far more hostile than its ghost counterpart, chasing its victims for a prolonged period of time. It does not speak, instead letting out either a quiet grunt or a lion-like roar. It also tends to cause property damage, as it is frequently seen damaging furniture and throwing large objects.

Skills and abilities[]

The Madds Markson Monster, resembling a rabbit, possesses extraordinary agility and running speed, being capable of running on both two legs and four, though it tends to prefer the latter. This ability does not come at the expense of brute strength, as it is capable of lifting an entire row of theater seats and throwing them at its targets with enough force to break through a wall. It is also capable of lifting people.

Season one[]

Teller unmasked

Teller unmasked.

Magician Teller wanted to impress his partner, Penn Jillette, so he staged a haunting at the Savanna Hotel. He used advanced puppetry combined with an overhead railing system to simulate the ghost of deceased magician Madds Markson, which was then replaced by a rabbit monster which he dressed up as. The rabbit first appeared in the Madds Markson Theater when Mystery Inc. witnessed the "ghost of Madds Markson" transform into a rabbit. Although Teller was revealed as the culprit after the hotel was demolished, he was commended by Penn for his elaborate illusion.
