Madcap the Killer Clown was the disguise of Oopsy.
Physical appearance[]
Madcap was a plump circus clown with red hair styled in three points, black eyes with red pupils, and sharp triangular teeth. He wore whiteface, red makeup on his eyebrow region, red lips, and a round red nose. He wore a baggy red clown outfit with yellow buttons, a ruffled yellow collar, and dark red shoes. He wielded a red-and-white striped wooden mallet.
Personality[]
Madcap was a psychotic and sadistic killer clown that attacked his victims by chasing. He did not speak, instead giggling as it attacked with his mallet.

Season one[]
Madcap was the disguise of Oopsy, a clown at Loony Park. Oopsy wanted to prevent his manager, Lars Harmon, from selling the rapidly-declining park. Using the fun house as his base of operations, he attacked parkgoers hoping to scare potential buyers away.
Oopsy unmasked.
Despite Oopsy's efforts to protect the park from buyers, the attacks ended up having the opposite effect as they only accelerated the park's decline, further lowering the property value. By the time Mystery Inc. caught Madcap by crushing him under the fun house's front wall, Harmon had already finalized the sale to Clara Belle, who did not mind the hauntings. Oopsy was not handed to local police as he did not technically commit any crimes, but he was arrested by the Clown Police for violating the "sacred cardinal code of clowndom," an ethical code which prevented him from using his clown abilities for evil.
