Early history[]
Louis XVI was the king of France between 1774 to 1792, being the last king before the French Revolution. Following the revolution and the subsequent abolition of the monarchy, Louis was stripped of his royalty and executed by guillotine soon after. His closest confidants, Duke Duvois and the Earl of Verneau, smuggled his crown to the American city of Louisville, where it was buried in a secret location and was lost for centuries.
Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?[]
A caterer working in Louisville sought to find Louis' crown for himself, digging in an underground tunnel and hijacking a robot from Fort Knox to scare others away. However, the crown was later found by Mystery Inc., who used the crown to destroy the robot and expose the culprit.
